Samer

As a child I was rather lazy. I would run away from school to swim in the nearby river. During summer my dad would take me to his blacksmith workshop, I would work with him forging metal. I was about ten or eleven. Another job I had during summer was repairing wheels and tires.

After my military service I worked as a truck driver. Later I travelled to Libya; there I worked as a black smith. I created four metal chairs for De Voorkamer. With this project, I could focus on the thing I love doing, working creatively with steel.
