BY & FOR: Designing Inclusive Spaces is een publicatie over de ontwerp-principes van De Voorkamer. Initiatiefnemers Shay Raviv en Pim van der Mijl hebben in samenwerking met Jamie Woods (Cambridge University) de kennis opgedaan in het ontwikkelingsproces van De Voorkamer in kaart gebracht.
In dit boek is onze collectieve kennis verzameld en uiteengezet in een serie principes, verhalen en reflecties. Met deze publicatie gaan we het gesprek aan met andere partijen en betrokkenen, binnen verscheidene contexten ter stimulatie van soortgelijk inclusieve projecten.
Dit is géén stappenplan voor het opzetten van ‘De Voorkamer’, maar een gids voor de creatie van inclusieve plekken en projecten.

BY & FOR: Designing Inclusive Spaces is a publication describing the design principles of De Voorkamer. Initiators Shay Raviv and Pim van der Mijl worked together with Jamie Woods (Cambridge University) to gather the knowledge gained through the development process of De Voorkamer.
In this book we share our collective knowledge, set out in a series of principles, stories and reflections. With this publication we start a conversation with other parties and organisations within diverse contexts to stimulate similar inclusive projects.
This is no step-by-step De Voorkamer set-up plan, but a guide for the creation of inclusive spaces and projects.
