Vrijdagavond 9 maart dialoog ‘Feeling Welcome in Utrecht’. Iedereen is welkom om mee te doen!
Wanneer voelde jij je welkom in Utrecht, of welkom in je eigen wijk of in je straat? Wat is er nodig om je veilig te voelen op een plek? Kan de gemeente hierin faciliteren om bij te dragen aan een veilig gevoel? Nieuwkomers en locals gaan met elkaar in gesprek, delen hun ervaring en dromen over een ideale stad met het vooruitzicht op de verkiezingen van 21 maart.
De gemeenteraadsverkiezingen worden gehouden op 21 maart. Inwoners boven 18 jaar, die legaal vijf jaar in Utrecht wonen, mogen gaan stemmen. De kandidaten met de meeste stemmen worden bestuursleden van de stadsraad. Daar representeren zij de inwoners en houden in de gaten wat er gaande is in Utrecht en luisteren naar de wensen en zorgen van de bewoners. Dus kom deelnemen aan ons dialoog en laten we samen nadenken over de rol van de gemeente en hoe we iedereen wolkom laten voelen in Utrecht.

Dialogue: Feeling welcome in Utrecht
Friday evening the 9th of March dialogue at De Voorkamer. The theme is ‘Feeling welcome in Utrecht’. Everyone is welcome to participate! When did you feel welcome in Utrecht, in you own neighbourhood, in your own street? What is necessary for someone to feel welcome in a place? Can the municipality facilitate this, help us in some way to feel more welcome? Newcomers and locals start a conversation, share their experience and dream about the ideal welcoming city in sight of the municipal elections on the 21st of March.
The municipal elections will be held on the 21st of March. Inhabitants over 18 years old who have resided legally in Utrecht for more than five years are allowed to vote. The candidates with the most votes become boardmembers of the city council. There, they represent the inhabitants, are attentive to what is going on in Utrecht, and listen to wishes and concerns of its resident.Join our dialogue to think about what role the municipality could play in making everyone feel welcome in Utrecht and how to do it!
