Homeland, Bread and Memory - Book Presentation Dinner

“ Homeland, Bread ,and Memory” will be presented by writer is Randa Awad(Palestinian Syrian). The book was published in August 2018. It is a bundle of 14 short stories about war , social and romantic issues.
The event will contain a short presentation about the history and development of short stories and the reading of one of the short stories (A Bullet in Memory) by Randa.
Guest Dutch writer Peter Zantingh and poet Steff Citroengeel will read some of their work.
We combine our efforts and minds during an open discussion and finally by creating a short story all together.
A Syrian dinner is prepared by Zaynab Qabel and will be served at the end.

أمسية توقيع كتاب
يوم ١٧ نوفمبر من الساعة ٦-٨:٣٠
عنوان الكتاب ( وطن وخبز وذاكرة ) للكاتبة الفلسطينية السورية رندة عوض .طُبع الكتاب بشهر أوغسطت ٢٠١٨.ويضم أربعة عشرة قصة تتحدث عن الحرب والمجتمع والأمور العاطفية.ستتضمن الأمسية محاضر قصيرة عن تاريخ وتطور القصة القصيرة وقراءة لقصة ( رصاصة في الذاكرة ) من قِبل الكاتبة.
ضيفة الأمسية الشاعرة الهولندية Steff Citroengeel والتي ستقرأ مجموعة من قصائدها .بعد ذلك سيكون هناك حوار مفتوح وستختتم الأمسية باختراع قصة قصيرة بمشاركة الحضور بطريقة ممتعة ومسلية .
تنتهي الأمسية بعشاء سوري من تحضير الشيف زينب قابيل .
