Shared History Tour - Zondag 20 Juni

In April, De Voorkamer -together with NTGent- created The Shared History Project. This project aimed to connect and combine different personal stories and experiences - including our historical-cultural backgrounds - to look at the negative and positive parts of our history and how we attach to it, and to combine them into one final theatre performance. The project was a mirroring of NTGent’s and Luk Perceval's “Yellow” performance.
In this tour, we want to share with you the discussions, experiences, and discoveries we lived through this process: how we shifted and shaped our perspectives on ourselves, each other, and our Shared History - as well as the process of constructing the theatre performance.
We hope that through the tour you will be able not only to reflect on your own connection with your culture and history but also on our Shared History!
𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐮𝐩 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐛𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐲 𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮! 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞
After a cup of coffee or tea at De Voorkamer, you will set off in pairs. Pairs will be divided into time slots, starting between 14:00 and 15:30, and the tour will last around 1 hour. We recommend participants to wear a mask and to keep 1.5 meters distance.
